Forces Connect App

At We R Blighty, we understand the importance of readily available assistance and resources for our Armed Forces community. In line with this, we would like to introduce a revolutionary tool – the Forces Connect App. This app integrates a host of services and assistance geared towards our armed forces personnel, veterans, and their families, right at your fingertips.

Forces Connect was developed as part of the Forces Connect South East project. In May 2017, Surrey County Council, in collaboration with Kent, East & West Sussex, Hampshire County Councils, and Armed Forces Network, received a £321,000 grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund. This project aims to increase public sector understanding and awareness of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

The app is a direct outcome of this initiative, offering a powerful platform to simplify the retrieval of information, resources, and support. While it initially started with details specific to Hampshire, Kent & Medway, Sussex and Surrey, the app’s coverage is expanding beyond these regions, further broadening its reach within the Armed Forces community.

With Forces Connect, you gain instant access to custom pathways of services relating to various regions. There are bespoke pathways for Hampshire, Kent and Medway, Surrey, and Sussex.

Forces Connect symbolizes a great stride forward in empowering the Armed Forces community by creating an easily accessible bridge linking them to the services they need. Essentially, it ensures that help and support are available whenever and wherever they are needed.
